We encounter stuations each day that try to rob us of our peace. We live in a fallen world, and Jesus clearly tells us that when we follow him we will face times of trouble. However, with our eyes firmly fixed on Jesus we can still have peace. I pray the scripture for today fills you with his peace as you face the day ahead.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
